Labradoodle Information

Over many generations, the pure breeding of Americas's favorite breeds, such as golden retrievers and labrador retrievers, have caused them to be prone to many genetic diseases including hip dysplasia and PRA (a degenerative eye disease). Just combining two breeds (like labrador retrievers and standard poodles) results in a phenomenon called "hybrid vigor" that combines the best of both breeds and increases their overall health, mental stability and other characteristics!
